Hey, I’m Jonatan

I’m a software engineer with over 10 years of commercial experience. I love solving complex problems, and the recent AI/agent revolution has given me new tools to tackle challenges I couldn’t before.

Currently, I work as a full-stack engineer at a food delivery company, where I build systems that serve millions of users. But my real passion lies in exploring what’s possible with AI agents and LLMs.

My Journey

I started coding professionally in 2014, working across the full stack—from databases to frontends. Over the years, I’ve worked on e-commerce platforms, financial systems, and now food delivery.

In 2023, I dove deep into AI. What started as curiosity became an obsession. I’m now focused on:

• Building agentic workflows that actually work in production
• Understanding the reasoning capabilities of modern LLMs
• Sharing what I learn with others

Why “The Reasoning Trace”?

A reasoning trace is the path an AI takes to reach a conclusion—the visible chain of thought. I chose this name because:

1. It reflects my focus on AI and LLMs
2. It represents transparency in thinking
3. It’s how I approach problems: step by step, showing my work
